Frauenrechte

• Peacewomen – Internationale Frauenliga für Frieden und Freiheit
  PeaceWomen.org is a project of the United Nations Office of the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom. The UN Office of WILPF is based in New York City, while the WILPF international office or international secretariat is based in Geneva, Switzerland. In addition to the International Secretariat and UN Office, WILPF has 37 national sections.

Frauenhandel

• KOK. Bundesweiter Koordinierungskreis gegen Frauenhandel und Gewalt an Frauen
• SOLWODI. Solidarität mit Frauen in Not
  Der Verein SOLWODI hilft Frauen, die als Opfer von Menschenhändlern, Sextouristen und Heiratsvermittlern nach Deutschland gekommen sind. SOLWODI kümmert sich um Migrantinnen, sowohl illegale wie auch legale, die Opfer von Menschenhandel geworden sind. Viele Frauen, die aus fremden Ländern kommen, haben zwar inzwischen einen deutschen Pass - entweder durch Heirat oder weil sie bereits in der 2. Generation in Deutschland leben. Trotzdem sind sie in Deutschland in die Fänge von Verbrechern des Menschenhandels geraten und erleben ausweglose Situationen.

• Frauensicherheitsrat
  Am 20. März 2003 begann der Krieg der US- und der britischen Streitkräfte gegen den Irak. Fast zum selben Zeitpunkt, am 28. März 2003, konstitutierte sich in Bonn der „Frauensicherheitsrat“. Der Frauensicherheitsrat ist ein Netzwerk von rund 50 Friedensforscherinnen, Friedensaktivistinnen, und Frauen in politischen Stiftungen und NGOs

  The Women's International League for Peace and Freedom aims to bring together women of different political and philosophical convictions, united in their determination to study and make known and help abolish the political, social, economic and psychological causes of war and to work for a constructive peace.
• The Urgent Action Fund for Women's Human Rights
  The Urgent Action Fund is committed to a vision of human rights that is fully inclusive of the experiences and perspectives of women and girls. The Fund is both a grantmaker and an initiator of programs, engaging in a range of activities to equip women’s human rights activists with the resources necessary to respond to emerging conflict or crisis.
• Center for Women's Global Leadership
  The Global Center's programs promote the leadership of women and advance feminist perspectives in policy-making processes in local, national and international arenas. Since 1990, the Global Center has fostered women's leadership in the area of human rights through women's global leadership institutes, strategic planning activities, international mobilization campaigns, UN monitoring, global education endeavors, publications, and a resource center. The Global Center works from a human rights perspective with an emphasis on violence against women, sexual and reproductive health and socio-economic well-being.
• International Center for Human Rights and Democratic Development
  Rights & Democracy is a non-partisan organization with an international mandate. It was created by Canada's Parliament in 1988 to encourage and support the universal values of human rights and the promotion of democratic institutions and practices around the world.
• Women's Caucus for Gender Justice
  The Caucus is a network of individuals and groups committed to strengthening advocacy on women's human rights and helping to develop greater capacity among women in the use of International Criminal Court and other mechanisms that provide women avenues of and access to different systems of justice.

  WHRnet is an international network of women's human rights organizations that seeks the effective utilization of all available information and communication technologies (ICTs) toward the advancement of Women's human rights.
• European Women Lobby
  The European Women's Lobby (EWL) is the largest co-ordinating body of national and European non-governmental women's organisations in the European Union, with over 3000 member associations in the 15 Member States. The EWL's goal is to achieve equality of women and men in Europe and to serve as a link between political decision-makers and women's organisations at EU level.
