Since August 2000, sociologist Karin Griese has been working at medica mondiale on the development of criteria for judging the quality of work with women and girls traumatised by war. At present, she is compiling a handbook on support of traumatised women in various fields and is working on a concept for further training on the subject of working with women traumatised by war. One of her main tasks in the area of disseminating information is the organisation of conferences, workshops, and lectures on this theme. Karin Griese has qualified herself for this job by working in various areas such as women` s health projects, research in women` s studies and as a lector for Mabuse Publishing House.
