Funding criteria

Who can submit applications?

Applications can be submitted by local non governmental organizations (NGO) such as woman organizations or groups.

The organization must fulfil the following criteria:

• The organization is a woman organization and it is run by women. Exceptions are (a) mixed organizations with an obvious woman program which is managed by women and (b) organizations which cannot be founded or cannot exist as a pure woman organization in their region.
• The organization stands up for the acknowledgement of woman rights as human rights, for equal rights for women in the society and against every form of discrimination.
• The organization is a non profit organization.
• The organization is a registered and acknowledged organization, an association or a corporation.
• The organization has rules or a statute.
• The organization is located outside of Germany or countries where medica mondiale is implementing a project (Afghanistan, Balkans, Liberia)..
• Direct communication by email or by telephone or fax must be possible.
• Applications of single persons cannot be accepted.

How much can be funded?

It can be applied for up to 5000 euros per project.
